Due to the rapid changes and development in teaching practices over recent years, it is important that St Patrick’s adopt pedagogy that enhances and develops student learning to prepare them for our modern world. The implementation of a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy enables flexibility in the classroom.

Students in Years 4, 5 and 6 take part in a managed BYOD project and use personal electronic devices to access the Catholic Schools Office (CSO) network through the Wi-Fi installed at St Patrick’s Primary School.

Through the implementation of our BYOD project, we aim to support students in the development of responsible and appropriate use of technology including hardware and personal digital devices, software and systems that manage, store, process, create, produce and communicate information.
