St Nicholas Early Education

St Nicholas Early Education Lochinvar is a 124-place early education and child care centre located amidst a unique educational community, providing the potential for a transitional pathway for children from their early years at St Nick’s, to their primary school years at St Patrick's, all the way through to their high school years at St Joseph's.

St Nick’s Lochinvar features a dedicated nursery for children aged 0 – 2 years, a 30-place program for children aged 2 – 3 years, a 30-place program for children aged 3 – 4 years and a 40-place preschool program for children aged 4 – 5 years. Having small group programs with high educator-to-child ratios allows us to provide premium, individualised education and care tailored to each child.

In line with St Nicholas’ commitment to supporting working parents, the service offers long day care hours (6.30am – 6pm). Lochinvar’s highly qualified, warm and professional team of educators are always available to share information about your child’s interests, friendships and learning journey.

A standout feature of our Lochinvar centre is its massive, award-winning outdoor environment, complete with large sandstone sandpits, tepees, bicycle tracks, garden beds, a mud kitchen, water pumps, dry river beds and so much more.

All visitors to the school should report to the main reception in the first instance, unless otherwise instructed.

8.30am	Supervision commences
8.50 – 10.50am	Morning classes
10.50 – 11.30	Lunch
11.30 – 1.30pm	Middle session
1.30 – 2.10pm	Recess
2.10 – 2.55pm	Afternoon session

Office hours during term

8.30am - 3.30pm

Not open during holidays.

Complaints Resolution

The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) and St Patrick's Primary School are committed to providing a positive, safe environment for all staff and students. There are occasions, however, when members of our school and wider community are concerned about something happening at a school that appears to be unsatisfactory or unreasonable.

The CSO has formal written protocols in place to address complaints and grievances. These protocols are in line with the Diocesan Complaints Resolution Policy, developed to provide a consistent approach for all diocesan schools. This policy aims to address the concerns of parents and carers and the wider community. These concerns may include children’s learning, behaviour and welfare, school organisation and management, student health and safety issues.
